Personal
I’m an America woman in my twenties, residing on the eastern coast a little south of New York City. I’ve been building and running websites – mostly journals – since I was 17, but my design skills are pretty non-existent. Nearly a decade ago, I ran a small, badly designed, completely unknown, totally useless anime fansite. On Geocities. Yeah, it was bad. Anyway, although I gave up on that, the desire to run a fansite has never quite gone away.

In mid-2007, after over a year of being a KAT-TUN fan, I started to get really fed up and disappointed with how the English KAT-TUN fandom was run and how it was organized (especially on Livejournal). I wanted to make, well, this site, but at the time, I didn’t have the time or motivation or even the technical skills to accomplish my goal. So, instead, we (myself and two friends) made the Yorokobi_no_Uta community (and there was much rejoicing) and ever since, it has kept me happy.

But a Livejournal community has certain limits to how it can be organized, so in the spring of 2008, when my personal website domain registration expired, I hunkered down and created kimi-no-koe.net for my fanfics and it was the perfect opportunity to play around with a proper KAT-TUN fansite.

So, here we are!

Eventually, I hope for this to be a thorough (possibly complete?) collection of information on KAT-TUN, NEWS, and Kanjani8, including: Japanese, roomaji, and English lyrics for all songs; info on all concerts, dramas, movies, photobooks, etc. that the boys have participated in; translations of J-webs, magazines, etc.; and current news (and possibly rumors) about all three groups. I’ve started with KAT-TUN and won’t work on either of the other groups until the first one is near complete.

Technical
This site is run on WordPress (Current version: 2.5), several plug-ins, and sheer force of will.

Layouts
The current layout is an altered version of Prosumer 1.4 (made by Nurudin Jauhari).

Sources
Images: A few of the pictures on this site were scanned by me, but most of them were ganked from boys_paper and random Chinese fanblogs. If you see an image that you scanned and want me to take it down, please contact me.

Information: Most of the biography information was taken from the drama Wiki, the Japanese Wiki, various magazines and interviews.

Lyrics: ALL lyrics on this site are taken from the official CD booklets or TV performances. They were all romanized by me and soon, they’ll all be translated into English by me.

Rules
Images: You may use any unaltered images (meaning: don’t steal my layout images or icons) anywhere you like. (Please credit boys_paper.) However, I will not tolerate hotlinking. Please upload the images to your own host and link from there.

Lyrics: Japanese and roomaji lyrics may be shared elsewhere (preferably with credit). English translations of lyrics may not.

Translations: Under no circumstances should my translations be posted anywhere. They are all open to the public, so there is no reason to copy and paste them somewhere else. This includes translations of lyrics, magazines, J-webs, etc. So, please, if you want to share my translations with others, just link to my page.

If you’d like to translate any of my translations into another language, please ask first. In most cases, I will say yes, but I want to know in advance.
